It's been a loooong while since i actually wrote an entry here, lol

But the game is still being worked on, i just don't post updates here to D.A. anymore.

At the moment, i'm converting JS (Unity Scripts) over into C# even though only use Unity 5.

I'll post more to this later, maybe.

I haven't been posting to D.A. at all in the way of my game's recent updates, mainly because it is easier to just do them via my website.

But i have try more updates in the future with links to the update archive and such.

Game releases are normally handled at the end of each month ( this is because i update the archive before i release so the player's can see what has been done ( or being done ) at the release date.

----------GAME UPDATE 16: (5/6/2015)----------

Updates and Fixes i have done to the game, since the last update post:


FINISHED working on the last 2 levels for the first mission of the game.

ADDED a Mission Results System (1) - fast new way to track progress of the current mission the player finished. ( the mission system tracks: ( Kills, Deaths, Hidden Areas and boss kills )

ADDED a few more items and objects to the game, and also gave them outlines to show their functionally.

 UPDATED mission system, so now it functions off of int ( numbers ) instead of Booleans ( true / false )

UPDATED Character Editor mode - the player's character will now have better looking hair and items to pick from. also updating the player's facial features so you can have a more custom look.

FIXED some bugs in the character editor ( mainly easier ways to alter the character without using a lot of mid air calls )

ADDED testing chamber(2) for the game's demo ( you can test weapons, and other things here )

ADDED Compass HUD and targeting system(3) ( now the player can shoot targets without having to guess where they're aiming. and the compass HUD will let players know which way they are facing. To access the options menu, to enable the HUD, while in game press F1 )

ADDED/UPDATED New player models(4) ( by doing this, the characters also look more proportional in related to their body features. also by updating the models i have made it to where the player can mix and match parts of the character to give them much more of a customization freedom, for females (this will be applied to males later )  ( the new player models look a lot better than what i tried to make the first time. ( photos coming soon. ( these new models will also be applied to the rest of the game as soon as i get the chance to do so.)

ADDED  Mech Repair - players can now fix their mech with the hand held weilder / blow torch. ( heals the mech's: Health and Shield power )

ADDED a Battle mode demo to the website so now friends and others can test out the weapons and enemies from the game. ( i don't have many things on that demo but i'll update that later.)

ADDED interactive vehicles around the game. ( though there only 3 things the player can actually use at the moment there will be more.) players can now drive different things and operate other objects like transfer trucks and turrets.

UPDATED character selector(5)  - ( here players normally choose what they want their base character to look like ( human / sinchurrian Male or Female, Slim or Big, etc. this is something i'm still working on with the male character models, rather than the female models, because there are so many options for the females than the males. ( both have options to make them " Human or sinchurrian, slim or big ) but the females have mix and match options, the guys don't, so that's what i'm going to work on later on in the year)

ADDED Language Filter - Yes... the game does have some language ( not too bad, but it can make some eyebrows raise, so i added a filter which will change the whole dialog from the bad word to a more tasteful speech. ) though i like giving people choices, i also like the game to be rated around T ( but as soon as online mode gets here,.... yeah... i don't care about that as much. )


==--WEBSITE Fixes and Updates--==

ADDED language selection(6) ( google ) - other people can translate the site into their preferred language ( though i have to adjust the site to handle the changes

UPDATED videos page ( the way i display videos on the site is a little more well-kept


Things to: Do, Fix, Improve and add to the game:

going to fix all of the weapons so they're in synch and lined up with the new targeting system.

need to add other items and features to the character editor later on ( misc. addons and such )

add save game ( XML )

replace and update all character in the game with the new character models.

need to see if some friends could help with some voice acting for some of the characters later on.

(6) language Selection -players can now pick the language they know, and apply it to the site.

(4) New Character model update ( Male and Female ) - the older version of the female model is right above this. on the language selection photo.


(3)Compass HUD and targeting system - this is the targeting system, but no HUD, wasn't enabled at the time.


(2) Testing Chamber 1- this is where i test weapons and other monsters for my computer game.

----------GAME UPDATE 15: (7/11/2014)----------


Updates and Fixes i have done to the game, since the last update post:


  • Reworked:  character editor (players can now use more recolors for their character.) (1)

  • Reworked:  the first  level of the game ( doing the other first 2 as well )

  • Added: a rewards screen after completing a level.

  • Updated:  interactive objects ( outlining the objects players can use with a green outline) (2)

  • Updated:  the enemies of the game, only Death Stalkers have been updated so far. (3)

  • Fixed: mission one's lighting and texture issues (lighting was not dynamic and did not cast the correct shadows, and textures were too low res)
  • Added: Mission one demo and Updated character editor demo to my website.
  • Added: a programs tab on the website ( this will show you a full list of programs i use on a daily basis to make my computer game. )
  • Updated: the update interfaces of the website ( now when you click the webpage's " Updates " you will see a list of updates i have done to the game newest are at the bottom. )


Things to: Do, Fix, Improve and add to the game:

  • Finish the last 2 levels for the first mission set.
  • Tune the rewards system for completing missions.

  • Update some other items and objects in the game with the outlines.

  • Update mech editor.

  • Update website with the new First mission Demo and Reworked character editor.

  • Link the levels of the missions and default area to the main game.
  • fix minor lag issues in mission one.
  • continue work on the last two missions leading into the 2nd stage.
  • add outlines to more interactive objects throughout the game.
  • update a few old default areas.
  • add ships and aircraft.
  • add a save system.
  • finish adding characters to the game.
  • add a customize feature to player's room ( so they can add and change items in their room.)
